报告内容：This talk briefly summarizes the background and fundamental principles for groundwater remediation technologies, with the emphasis on in-situ bioremediation, discusses the general procedures for designing and implementing an application of in-situ bioremediation, and finally presents case studies for establishing numerical models for simulating and predicting in-situ bioremediation systems.
报告人简介：1998年和2000年分别获得清华大学环境工程学士和硕士学位，2006年获得美国斯坦福大学市政与环境工程学科博士学位，现任美国佐治亚理工学院市政与环境工程学院教授。他主要致力于地下水污染及修复的模拟分析、海岸带地下水、不同物质在多孔介质的反应迁移、水资源处置及政策分析、随机水文地质学、地质统计学、线性及非线性系统的分析以及逆推模型分析等领域的学术研究。罗剑教授的研究项目分别受到美国能源部（DOE）、美国环境保护署（EPA）和美国地质勘探局（USGS）的资助。罗剑教授为美国国家科学基金会(NSF)和美国地质调查局(USGS)项目评委。近年来在《Environmental Science & Technology》、《Nature Climate Change》、《Water Resources Research》等国际权威杂志发表SCI研究论文50余篇。罗剑教授现任国际著名水文学杂志Journal of Hydrology副主编。
