Research Interests

l     Laboratory   experiment of multiphase flow in porous media;   lab-on-a-chip; wettability and heterogeneity;   and sensor R&D.

l     Numerical   modeling of multiphase flow in porous media; optimization; parameter   estimation; geostatistical methods; uncertainty and risk analysis; and   system-level modeling.

l   Applications include geological carbon   sequestration; underground gas storage; groundwater monitoring and detection.
