Wang Jian: Male, born in Nantong on February 1975, Jiangsu Province, doctor of engineering, professor and doctoral supervisor.
Graduated from Hohai University with a bachelor's degree in hydrogeology and engineering geology in 1997; He began to study geology and geotechnical engineering at Hohai University in 1997, and continued to study as a master and doctoral candidate. received a doctoral degree in hydraulic structure engineering in 2002. From 2002 to 2004, he conducted post-doctoral research in the Three Gorges Project Corporation, and was a visiting scholar at the University of Alberta, Canada from October 2008 to October 2009. In 2005, he was promoted to associate professor, and in 2014, he was promoted to professor and qualified as a doctoral tutor. In 2007, he was selected as the first batch of young and middle-aged science and technology leaders in Jiangsu Province and successively served as deputy director of the Science and Technology Department of Hehai University.
He has been engaged in teaching and scientific research in the field of numerical simulation and safety assessment of hydraulic structures and geotechnical engineering for a long time. Lectures include undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as hydraulic structures, structural analysis software application and hydraulic structure design. Presided over one general project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one general project of the Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China and one project of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation of China; Participated in 2 key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation and 1 national science and technology support project. Presided over or participated in the numerical calculation, analysis and safety assessment of dams, power houses, tunnels, aqueducts, embankments, foundation pits, open caissons and pile foundations of more than 40 major projects.
He has won two second prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, one first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of Hubei Province and one second prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of Jiangsu Province, and two second prizes of the Ministry of Education. He has published more than 40 academic papers in such academic journals as International JOURNAL FOR NUMERICAL AND ANALYTICAL METHODS IN GEOMECHANIC, International JOURNAL OF COMPUTATIONAL METHODS, Journal of Water Conservancy, Journal of Geotechnical Mechanics, Journal of Geotechnical Engineering, and more than 10 authorized invention patents and software authorship rights, and has edited and participated in the editing of 3 treatises.
